I created this site for Kristina Zallinger, an artist based in New Haven, Connecticut, using XML, PHP, jQuery, CSS, XHTML, and Adobe Photoshop. This site uses PHP to retrieve nearly all of the site's content from an XML file.

I redesigned this site for a client using HTML, CSS, and Adobe Photoshop. I also uploaded files and formatted content.

Details

I sought to create a clean look for the site and enhance usability. I used a light-blue color scheme, created a simple header, and created right sidebars for secondary links. I also added a tagline and highlighted the mission statement on the home page.

Latest Images from the Chandra X-Ray Observatory

This Flash gallery features images released by the Chandra X-Ray Observatory. I created this gallery using Flash, ActionScript, XML, CSS, XHTML, and Adobe Photoshop. This gallery uses ActionScript to retrieve images and text from an XML file.

Deep Space Image and Video Gallery

This gallery features deep-space images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and a few videos from the Chandra X-Ray Observatory. I created this site using XML, PHP, CSS, XHTML, Adobe Photoshop, Flash, and ActionScript. This site uses PHP to retrieve nearly all of the site's content from an XML file.

Typography for the Web

I created this site using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, MySQL, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. This site uses PHP to insert user comments into and retrieve them from a MySQL database. I also wrote all of the content.

AmeriCares is a nonprofit international disaster relief organization. I uploaded, edited, and updated Web content for the organization's Web sites using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Adobe Photoshop. I also performed user testing and coded e-mail newsletters.

WebServesUs is a nonprofit technology service group. I helped to renovate the organization’s Web site using XHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, PHP, and SQL: I fixed and updated client-side and server-side code, wrote client-side and server-side form validation, and wrote Ajax code to display user-requested profile information.
